What’s the most unique, useful feature of your product?

There are a lot of features unique in Voila in comparison to the other capturing tools on the Mac. We think the best amongst is the ability to have a free hand capture; since this really saves the user a lot of time and allows him to capture just the area he wants.

Why did you create this app? or What need were you trying to satisfy?

Our research diverted us to those users who were looking at a capture tool that would enable them to quickly explain things graphically and amplify it further by adding quick annotations on the Mac platform. Basically they were looking for a SnagIT counterpart on the Mac and we thought we had the potential and the bandwidth to come up with a capture and annotation tool that would surpass all the other capture tools in the market.

What is most interesting to you about developing SW for the Mac platform?

Mac is more about the User Interface and user appeal. Designing the user interface and logos on the Mac is always challenging and in my opinion one of the most interesting aspects as well.

What features should a prospective buyer look into during a trial of your product?

Some of the features that I think users would love to use in Voila are:
1. Free Hand Capture
2. Capture in different shapes
3. Callouts, Arrows, Lines, Shapes and Sprays from the Tools section
4. Edges, Skew and Filters from the Effects section.

What features would you like to add to your product that at this time seem improbable/impossible?

Well, there are a lot of these. Making Voila feature rich is our main objective and we have a lot of features lined up for the upcoming releases-the main ones being providing more ‘Share’ options and adding a few new tools. We need your opinion on making Voila compatible with Tiger OS.

What would you like a user to ask you?
