SuperSync — Your Music Libraries… Anywhere, Everywhere!

  • Synchronize all of your music… from any computer that you keep music on.
  • Listen to your music collection from anywhere on the Internet.
  • Back-up all of your music from another hard drive or iPod with ease.
  • Upload new music from one SuperSync to another over the Internet.
  • Download your music from anywhere on the Internet.

With SuperSync, you get…

  • A visual comparison of any two music libraries — easily see what needs synchronizing (by artist, album, genre or track), then copy all or just some with the click of a mouse.
  • An all-access pass to your music library: Access (download, upload and play) music from anywhere on the internet! The included SuperSync music server requires a broadband connection with static IP or port-forwarding.
  • An always up-to-date iTunes music library — automatically adds new music and removes broken links from your iTunes library.
  • Complete back-up functionality: Quickly and easily create a back-up library
on a separate computer or hard disk from any music source including your iPod. Move music from your iPod in one easy step–only copying the songs that you don’t have and easily skipping the songs that you don’t want.
  • Cross-platform - Runs on Windows, Mac, or both. Now it’s easier than ever getting Macs and PCs to share music. Any purchase includes a link to the Mac and Windows version of SuperSync.

SuperSync offers you the flexibility and freedom to merge all of your music libraries and access them from anywhere. Best of all,
it’s free to try and simple to use, meaning that
in just a few minutes, you can sync your music libraries and enjoy your favorite
music anywhere you are.

Sync your music libraries in 5 easy steps…

SuperSync Icon 1.Download for OS-X Universal and/or Windows. Takes just 1 minute to install!
local library 2. Define your Local Music Library (import your iTunes library or from hard drive)
Remote Library 3. Choose a Remote Music Library (another networked SuperSync, your iPod, or disk drive, or other media.)
Synchronize! 4. Synchronize your music — copy the unsynchronized files you want. Optimized for speed over two hard drives or across the Internet.
Network 5. Access your music from anywhere on the Internet with the built-in music server and player!

Repeat steps 3 & 4 with all your music libraries. With SuperSync, there’s no more guessing which music files you have on one computer or another. Music tracks become color-coded depending on whether they’re in a single library or both. Leave the SuperSync server running and download and upload music from anywhere on the Internet.

SuperSync is a feature-packed music utility that’s worth the price even for just a few of the features. Some people use SuperSync to keep their iTunes libraries up to date. Others love to be able to upload and download music from home when on the road or at work. Whether you have a hundred songs or over a hundred thousand, SuperSync is sure to be one of your favorite applications.

Visit www.supersync.com for screen shots of SuperSync in action or browse the documentation to learn more.

The full version of SuperSync includes…

  • Unlimited synchronizing of your music
  • Basic music player
  • Improved network music server access
  • Free updates for at least 1 year.

A 2-pak license lets you use SuperSync on 2 computers (Mac/PC mix). A license is required for each computer you want to run SuperSync on. We recommend a SuperSync for each computer you keep music on. If you don’t have 2 computers, you can give (or sell) licenses to your friends or family.

I downloaded and tried to use this app - but hmmm it just didn’t work well for me. Can you actually liasten to your library via a web browser? I read through the docs and couldn’t find a way to access tracks in my browser or password protect access to secure my music.

I’d recommend DOT.TUNES ( http://www.dottunes.net ). From the moment you install you can access your tracks via a browser or via the DOT.TUNES Flash player - this means you can put the flash player on your web space or myspace page and people can listen to your iTunes tracks. Or you can use DT to stream tracks to your Wii or PSP.

You can also use DT to control iTunes and use any web enabled device as a remote control for your iTunes/AirTunes setup.

I’m sure SuperSync has its use but if you simply want to access your tracks from anywhere I’d go with DOT.TUNES.

    Bye

The download link doesn’t work - at least for me. Fix it, or nobody will be able to try it.

Oh man, just bought this 2 weeks ago.. Works as advertised.. And WAN access to my music libraries is a lifesaver since I have a huge music libraray at work and subsets everywhere else. Not exactly eye-candy pretty, but solid and cross-platform and runs 24/7. Good work on the deal, zot people.

the idea off this app sounds great but it just looks so complicated and pc like its not a very atrictive app, wich i know sounds silly but really puts me off using it :0(

DOT.TUNES really is the better Tool if you want to listen to your music from anywhere in the world. And you do not need two licenses for it ;)

Two comments about our ugly interface! :)

Yes, SuperSync is not as pretty as a lot of Mac apps. We had to make some trade-offs making SuperSync cross-platform. The good news is that you can sync songs with whether you have a Mac, PC or both.

Each new release of SuperSync includes Mac-specific performance tunings and UI improvements. (You get free updates for at least 1 year.) If you see any changes that you’d like to see implemented please let us know–we are very receptive to suggestions.

And yes, there is a bit of a learning curve–SuperSync tries to do a lot while trying to keep things simple. Once you’ve loaded two music libraries in, do a few test synch’s (select a song and click “synchronize”) and make sure you’re clear where things are going. Once you’re comfortable, you can do a select-all and sync everything.. Remember to clear any search filters by selecting “show all” if you can’t see your music.

Questions, let us know.. we’re here to help.

    Thanks for your feedback.

I likely the synching feature, which isn’t present in dot tunes.

But - Ummm… what’s with the yearly license thing?

    What would updates cost?

    Hi Umijin,

There are no yearly licenses or mandatory updates or anything of the kind. This is the full version of SuperSync that will run forever once you buy it. We are including at least one year of free updates. After that, we might try to sell you an upgrade to version 2.0, but your 1.x versions will continue to work fine…

    Thanks,
    - Brad

Downloaded the trial version and it looks good, but I’ve tried over the last two days to purchase a license and the company’s site has been down. Frustrating.

I discovered SuperSync only a few weeks ago. It has allowed me to access all my iTunes collection anywhere. I have a lot of music on my home computer and sometimes I wanted to be able to listen to all of it, but can’t because my iPod doesn’t have enough memory. SuperSync allows me to sync my music on my home Mac and my work PC almost seamlessly. That’s what works best for me — the cross platform compatibility. It’s very easy to install and set-up. I was up and running in 10 minutes. The interface is robust, but very intuitive. Now I don’t have to monopolize my iPod as a file transfer device.
