Looks great, and at $1 I grabbed it rather than download the demo (and maybe forget to order during the deal). Looking forward to comparing this to some of my other audio capture apps.

It looks good, but the reviews for the company seem to be not-so-hot:

Grabbed too without trying out the demo due to low price. That was a mistake, recording from applications is not working at all on my two Lion Macs. That was $2 down the drain. Do yourself a favor and try the demo before buying.

On my Lion mac it crashes Safari without recording anything, but it did work with QuickTime Player. So indeed, trying it out first is good advice.

I would not trust this software, given that the company spammed Macupdate with hundreds of fake reviews of their software. Those were removed last month.
I would not install this even if it was given away for free.

Just downloaded the app, did some test recordings from Safari, seems to work as advertised. Don’t know if I’d spend $29.95 for this, but a buck, come on…

I’ve now tried the recorder with Quicktime, and pulling the sound from a YouTube clip on Safari – both worked flawlessly. I’ll do further testing. I’m still running Snow Leopard, so maybe it’s happier in that OS?
