*Because of Mac App Store restrictions, DVD ripping is not allowed on the Mac App Store version. When you buy this version from macZOT, you’ll get DVD ripping capability. The available demo version (on the TRY button above) will only allow one file in the queue at a time while the full version will convert as many files as you put in the queue.

      Does Dropit rip encrypted DVDs? What can this app do that HandBreak cannot?

      Yes it will rip encrypted DVD’s. What makes this different than Handbrake is its ease of use. Drop a file and it just begins converting that file suitable for syncing to your iOS devices and AppleTV.

      Looks like a great software, does it handle DIVX encoded AVI files?

      Save your money – it doesn’t work. I’ve tried to rip several dvds and have yet to realize anything.
