iGlasses is a great companion to your iMage USB Webcam. Fine tune your colors for a perfect picture every time.
It’s not just for iSight! If you use a Logitech QuickCam or other 3rd-party webcam that uses UVC or the macam driver, iGlasses will add the same great adjustments and features.

Brightness Contrast Color Balance Hue
Focus Gain Orientation Shutter Speed
Zoom White Balance Sharpness Saturation

Note: Some cameras may not offer all of the settings listed above. See details in the online manual.

  1. F451 Says:

I have licenses to all them; use them all; love them all.

  2. Jay Says:

I bought Call Recorder for Skype a year ago or so. Excellent app, does precisely what it’s supposed to. Highly recommend it if you need a call recording app for Skype. You can pretty much set it once and leave it be. It saves file names with the name of the phone number (or contact, if the person is in your contact list) and it can be set to automatically record all incoming and outgoing calls so you don’t have to worry about turning it on all the time. I’m sure the other two apps are just as good.

  3. ubrgeek Says:

I can vouch for iGlasses. It’s fantastic and can really help clear up your outgoing image. Used Call Recorder once and liked it but didn’t really need to record calls (of course, now I can’t figure out how to get rid of thing. :) Anyone know how to completely remove it from the system?)

  4. Ken Says:

    Hi ubrgeek:
Ken from Ecamm here. For all of our plugins, uninstalling is easy. Just run the installer and hit the Uninstall button. You can use a demo installer if you don’t still have the full version around.
    -Ken

  5. Ralph Says:

Editor’s Choice Bundle for Mac $29 includes all 3 and Dockstar as well – on Ecamm’s website might be a better deal

  6. Colin Says:

No real need for the first two apps for me, but absolutely love iGlasses! Makes my iSight in my macbook much more useable, Went ahead an bought it separately – well worth $10.

  7. ubrgeek Says:

As an FYI to all, Ken’s response (a) worked and (b) is the amazing level of support ecamm provides. I wish I could afford the Zot today, as I’d pick it up just to support the company. Thanks Ken :)

  8. t5tr Says:

I’ve enjoyed how the interview was made exploring the same tool being promoted.

    @Mike
You kept me busy this weekend, thanks for your selection and I’ve zotted 2 times on a day. :)

Can we see a MacZot podcast on the horizon?

  9. Duug Says:

This is what I need for my iPhone!!

  10. Stacey Cochran Says:

I would like to have an iChat video podcast wherein I’m interviewing guests (with video) and our audience can listen (or watch) and can call in from landlines and cell phones with questions. I have considered using Blog Talk Radio and iChat simultaneously and then synching the audio from Blog Talk Radio up in post-production, but I’m wondering if there’s some way that iChat can facilitate all of this on its own.

  11. john Says:

    Hi guys,

I used a demo version of the Ecamm call recorder and ever since the time for it went out I am getting a very irritating announcement to buy it every time I start Skype.

I have tried to kill it, but apparently they have made it very difficult so that you are supposed to buy it. Is there anyone that can give me some direct info on how to get rid of that crap without shutting down my Skype account?

    Cheers,

    John
