Why are Zots not changing at 12 PM PST anymore like they used to?
There have been so many times that I can’t count anymore that I’ve wanted to buy the “current” day’s zot, only to find out that it has been replaced by some software that I would never in my right mind buy.
Can we please have some clarification on this???
Thanks, Andrew.

I thought at first this somehow included an iPhone app but alas no, they’re Dashboard widgets. Bummer.

@Andrew: I believe macZOT! have switched from Pacific to Central time, still midnight. If I remember correctly, an announcement was made when it happened.

Andrew,
I’ve gotten caught by this a number of times. So MacZot has lost money from me. I too wish they would go back to midnight.

Do I need this if I already have Calories?

Thanks Guys,
Yes, we change over at 10pm Pacific now. Or Midnight Central….
We announced this about a month and a half ago.
Support for the change has been strong. Especially among developers who like to monitor offers – especially at the beginning. Some have had “near religious” experiences due to their excitement about it.
We hope you can get used to the new time, and find a way to make it work for you.
It is much better for ZOT management – (me) And my family.
:)
Thanks!

Demo only shows 500 items. Is this a limit of the demo?

Seems to be a pretty worthless package for me.
First, it is US-centered. Most of the products available in my country won’t be in the database. Second, for burning calories it only tracks running. I don’t run. I take the bicycle to work, I regularly do long distance walks – all that doesn’t get measured.
So the package cannot measure my calorie intake and it cannot measure how much calories I burn. And I bet that there are quite a few more people for who the same goes. Looks like there is room for improvement here.

I like the new time. It’s 1 AM for me.

Bicycling is in the list, and you can choose a distance, there are over 1,000 activities to choose from among them include bicycling. The “Value” drop down includes this list, and each activity is in turn calculated by its average value. Its pretty acurate :)

All full versions will be distributed once the Zot has expired, thanks for your support!

Is the 500 item limit due to the demo?
18 minutes to make a sale.

Dave – it says on the site there are over 7000 items in the database. Since this is a demo I’m assuming it’s limited to 500.
