This looks and sounds interesting, but I think the price is still a little too high for it.
Plus the comments at Macupdate & VersionTracker are not real good especially the ones about having to buy a new license if you get a new hard drive or new computer – http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/23572/macpool

Would Bakno like to address these concerns? Because if this is how registration works, I won’t buy it for sure.

FYI… there is a free billards game for OS X available called Foobillards. I am not tried it so I can not recommend it at this time, but feel free to check it out. I don’t think it has some of the features of MacPool but then it has some features MacPool doesn’t have.

Thank you for pointing this out, Britonius! I came here to buy the game (even though I agree that it is too expensive but well, got some boring days ahead) – but if this licensing scheme is true I’m definitely not going to buy since I will be replacing my computer some time next year.

This is on their web site:
I have changed my computer. Do I need to purchase the game again?
No, there is no need to purchase again. Just send us an email and we will reset your registration.
So it appears you don’t need to buy a new license, just request it be reset.

Yeah but some of the comments said they never responded and they certainly did not respond here to correct the issue. So where is the responsiveness of the company as they knew this deal was happening as they had to approve it. Other developers would monitor comments and answer questions.
