Celebrating Halloween on your Mac this year? What’s the mystery behind the mask! Today’s Halloween Mystery Bundle has some great titles. The applications have never been seen on MacZOT heretofore. For those who can harness the power of buying the unknown, you may be pleasantly surprised by the valuable contents. Go get it! |

October 31st, 2006 at 3:41 pm
Bought it.
October 31st, 2006 at 3:51 pm
Me too.
October 31st, 2006 at 3:55 pm
Me three…
October 31st, 2006 at 4:11 pm
When does it end?
Why did it start just a couple hours ago (if that long) and not earlier (like at midngiht PDT)?
October 31st, 2006 at 4:34 pm
I’m in too. Why is it that I cannot resist these mystery style Zots?
October 31st, 2006 at 4:36 pm
I hope it comes with a Monkey’s Paw.
October 31st, 2006 at 4:40 pm
I’ve been disappointed by the last two MysteryZOTs. I think I’ll stand out on this one.
October 31st, 2006 at 4:42 pm
OK, I’m new to the world of ZOT. I’ll give this one a go. I imagine there ought to be something in the pack worth the 7 clams. We’ll see….
(Please don’t let it be Halloween screensavers and icons that we get to download on Nov 1st.) :-)
October 31st, 2006 at 4:50 pm
You tried to sneak this one in on me…good thing I check my e-mail after work…I’m in.
October 31st, 2006 at 4:51 pm
Zotted!
I’ve been burn with the last MZ but I can’t help it…
October 31st, 2006 at 4:55 pm
I too have been burned by the last couple of MysteryZOTs, but find it remarkably difficult to ignore the call of the MysteryZOT….to ZOT or not to ZOT, that is the question.
October 31st, 2006 at 4:55 pm
Only like 7 min left!
October 31st, 2006 at 5:01 pm
I was a bit upset at the last MysteryZOT, too, but I’m willing to spend $7 to try one more time. Worst case, it’s the last $7 I ever spend here.
October 31st, 2006 at 5:09 pm
Why don’t my comments appear? When I try to post it again, I get:
“Duplicate comment detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that!”
October 31st, 2006 at 5:11 pm
I’d jump on this if I knew how many apps are in the bundle.
October 31st, 2006 at 5:14 pm
Woohoo, another Mystery ZOT. I’m in.
You can’t beat $6.95.
October 31st, 2006 at 5:18 pm
I too purchased this app. I thought that the apps in the Efficiency Mystery Bundle were too similar, so hopefully there’s no repeat of that on this bundle.
They know that there’s just something about a mystery that attracts me.
October 31st, 2006 at 5:31 pm
it’s nice that we were told they aren’t repeats. so i’m in. happy halloween ya’ll!
October 31st, 2006 at 5:53 pm
Yar, happy Halloween! Zotted.
October 31st, 2006 at 5:53 pm
here we go again…
October 31st, 2006 at 6:16 pm
i wonder if they are all halloween type apps, or if they are general useful apps.
October 31st, 2006 at 6:37 pm
I like how ZOT is really milking the artwork that debuted witht the TastyTwenty Five myztery ZOT. It was most recently used for the EfficiencyZOT as well. :-)
October 31st, 2006 at 6:38 pm
I’m hoping for Cha-Ching!
October 31st, 2006 at 6:44 pm
i’m hoping for disco
October 31st, 2006 at 6:44 pm
anybody else notice its filed under internet utilities…….
October 31st, 2006 at 6:58 pm
Happy,
notice also: fun.
I’m hoping for “Blocky 2: Dot’s revenge” ;)
October 31st, 2006 at 6:59 pm
oh yar, i believe it is a treat to a trick.
October 31st, 2006 at 7:30 pm
I’m nervous I’ve never done one of these before. Hope that I don’t end up getting had. O and thanks MacZOT for the Disco at such a price. That led me here.
October 31st, 2006 at 7:52 pm
I don’t see how it could be Disco since they say the applications have never been seen on MacZot before. Disco was featured as a pre-order several months ago and then again just yesterday so that pretty much rules it out.
October 31st, 2006 at 8:20 pm
Damn.
October 31st, 2006 at 8:24 pm
I’m hoping for Awaken.
October 31st, 2006 at 8:45 pm
Awaken! Awaken! Awaken! Awaken! Take the land the must be taken!
October 31st, 2006 at 9:13 pm
I purchased the ZOT too, couldn’t resist on Halloween (I stayed out of the last ZOTs and missed out on the imminent burning).
Things I would like to see (although highly unlikely):
Notae
Checkout
Cha-ching
or Speed Download
October 31st, 2006 at 9:42 pm
OK sure I don’t use either of the last two apps in the mystery zot, but at $6.95 I am still up on the copy of disco I gave to a friend from yesterday.
October 31st, 2006 at 9:45 pm
Argh. Why do you do this to me, Zot??!?
*buys*
October 31st, 2006 at 9:58 pm
Uh… I could of sworn that earlier today the front page read “Normal Price: >$38.00″ – now it reads “Normal Price: >$57.00″ … Weird.
October 31st, 2006 at 10:02 pm
Wait, is inflation really that bad?
$38 up to $57 in about 5 hours?
Wow. Glad I filled up day before yesterday.
October 31st, 2006 at 11:41 pm
Crossing my fingers for cha-ching too…
October 31st, 2006 at 11:52 pm
This is the first time I landed on Zot… and it’s a mysteryZot… I just bought it. For about $10.00 Cdn, I think it’s a good little fun.
October 31st, 2006 at 11:55 pm
Maybe they managed to get another app into the bundle…
“The applications have never been seen on MacZOT ” so I’m in.
November 1st, 2006 at 12:04 am
My first ZOT – hope it’s a good one :-)
November 1st, 2006 at 12:34 am
It’s *over* $57.
November 1st, 2006 at 12:37 am
>$57 worth of stuff for
November 1st, 2006 at 12:38 am
$57 worth of stuff for $7 seems like a good deal to me. I hope it’s 2-3 good things and not 4-∞ little useless things.
November 1st, 2006 at 12:42 am
Boy with all these guesses flying around I’m surprised no one said the winners of MyDreamApp… ;)
or how about full versions of the freebies from the MDA voting rounds ?
November 1st, 2006 at 12:49 am
Actually I’m hoping for shadowburn cause somehow I missed it last time…
November 1st, 2006 at 12:54 am
I just bought my first MysteryZOT and I’m wondering which Apps were included in the previous MysteryZOTs? Can anyone tell, please?
November 1st, 2006 at 1:01 am
Grmpf, c’mon guys… Not again 24 Hours… :(
November 1st, 2006 at 1:03 am
hey guys just curious, why did the clock say 23 mins left at 11:30pm and now at 12:00am it says 23 hrs left?
November 1st, 2006 at 1:11 am
@Kodac: This is the “macZOT!-TimeWarp” – never heard of it? :D
November 1st, 2006 at 1:14 am
yep, but lately they’ve been pretty good about adding extra days instead of resetting the clock…
November 1st, 2006 at 1:15 am
Yes, this isn’t funny and one of the things i don’t like at macZOT! :(
November 1st, 2006 at 1:17 am
dude…it’s not halloween anymore. time to end it.
November 1st, 2006 at 1:29 am
My guess is that they added an app worth about $19 and want to give people an extra day to jump on board…
I do think if you jump on board the FIRST day, you should get some ZotBucks or something…
November 1st, 2006 at 1:45 am
I would love to see the third app that was mentioned in the last ZotGeist-news we received and which hasn’t shown up here until now. Won’t say more :-)
November 1st, 2006 at 1:52 am
I passed on the latest two MysteryZot’s since I’ve got some duplicates of zot’ed software, duplicate licenses that is. I must however be a Zot o’holic because I fell for this one right away.
But please not duplicates of software I’ve already got via MacZot, you hear me?
November 1st, 2006 at 1:53 am
And I would love to see my BirthDayZOT! ’cause my B-Day is today! :)
(Anyone of the ZOT-team reading this, hmm?)
November 1st, 2006 at 2:08 am
I’m in…
Would be thrilled with…
Delicious Library…. Oh foolish man… you dream too much.
November 1st, 2006 at 2:09 am
OK, quite new here so don’t bash me for asking:
Where is the clock telling me how long the item is available? I don’t see it anywhere.
-Thanks!
November 1st, 2006 at 2:16 am
Hey Ad! Happy Birthday ;-)
I would love to see another copy of Panorama….
@Mymac: There won’t be any duplicates, cause these software products were not in any ZOT before as stated in the description.
November 1st, 2006 at 2:36 am
Dangit! This site is gonna make me go broke saving money.
Bought yesterday; hoping for a satisfying reveal.
November 1st, 2006 at 2:47 am
Actually the word used was “heretofore” which I’m taking to mean that we might not have seen it YET, but we will see it/them again at least once more….
Heretofore \Here`to*fore”\, adv.
Up to this time; hitherto; before; in time past. –Shak.
[1913 Webster]
November 1st, 2006 at 3:34 am
Yeah Ad, shake my hand :)
I am out of this ZOT ´cause I have to buy in to some podhoster for my podcast is knocking .mac out of its traffic-socks. Maybe next time :)
November 1st, 2006 at 4:14 am
Zot bucks????
November 1st, 2006 at 4:47 am
Waiting for the sun …
November 1st, 2006 at 4:55 am
I hope VisualHub is thrown in there somewhere…
November 1st, 2006 at 5:30 am
Arrrr….I’ve been off the MacZOT drug for a couple of weeks, because I can’t afford software I don’t REALLY need at the moment, but this is just too much :P
I can’t resist a mystery, not this time of year :P
November 1st, 2006 at 6:55 am
No way to get around this offer. :) I joined Zot yesterday fpr the disco offer and now… I bought again.
Hope that the apps will come in handy for me.
November 1st, 2006 at 8:13 am
Halloween is over, where are the goods or was this just a trick?
November 1st, 2006 at 8:18 am
Ga… I’m so weak. *buys*
Damn you, MacZOT!
November 1st, 2006 at 8:22 am
Maybe the whole timewarp thing is an equivalent to eBay’s ‘reserve’? Unless they get enough people to buy, they (insert bad thing here – lose money, are in bad rep. with the developers, etc.). Just a thought.
November 1st, 2006 at 8:27 am
Hmm. None of my comments are getting posted.
November 1st, 2006 at 8:34 am
@CaptKevMan: Hey Kev! I assume you’re the same as CaptKevMan on MAF/M|LF?
Seeing the value increase was nice, but yeah, its not Halloween anymore. This thing shouldn’t still be going. *sigh*
I bought it last night, though, when it only said it was worth $38. As long as they’re new (which they apparently will be), its worth it for me. I gotta say, this site rocks for switchers like me.
November 1st, 2006 at 8:57 am
Greenie.. for a second I thought you were on to something, given the mention in zotgeist jolt, and the category of this zot.
But, I looked up the MSRP on that app.. and it is much greater than $38. And the addition of it to the >$38 would make it much greater than $57.
So I’m thinking not in this bundle.
November 1st, 2006 at 9:13 am
Popped my Maczot cherry!
November 1st, 2006 at 9:21 am
Oh man, my wife’s not gonna like this… First it was Disco+an extra license… now this…
Hello,
My name is Chad and I’m a Zotoholic…
November 1st, 2006 at 9:37 am
Couldn’t resist. Delicious Library or TextMate would be great.
November 1st, 2006 at 9:37 am
I have Delicious Library and TextMate already, so I hope it isn’t them.
November 1st, 2006 at 10:27 am
Aaagh – I can’t stop. We’re going to need a 12-step program soon. I’ve been Zot-free for several weeks now. But then there was Disco. And now we’ve got a 6.95 MysteryZot? How can I refuse. Oh for shame – my wife is going to have my head.
November 1st, 2006 at 10:36 am
Mr. Zot
When will the Zot be unleashed?
@ dburney:
If your wife will have your head over $6 bucks, you might want to think about a part time job and or divorce.
November 1st, 2006 at 10:46 am
Also, why si this on here today? Halloween was yesterday.
November 1st, 2006 at 11:08 am
OK, seriously, it’s 1309EST. Where the hell is the thing?
November 1st, 2006 at 11:27 am
This is too much for me to resist… Damn…. GOD bless MacZot… Since… it is mentioned… apps not see here before… I don’t get Disco again… already have 2 copies of it… :)
November 1st, 2006 at 11:35 am
My first MZ, hopefully it will be good as everyone has complained the last two times the MZ’s have come around.
QUESTION: How do you become a zotgeist?
November 1st, 2006 at 11:46 am
I should be saving my pennies, but I have an idea that this will be a good deal. I did well with the MysteryZot and the ShoeZot.
November 1st, 2006 at 11:48 am
its impossible to resist. and all new apps… cant beat that.
November 1st, 2006 at 12:40 pm
Very curious which apps are in the bundle. This one was stronger than me. MacZot drives me completely nutz… “Somebody get me a doctor”, as the great American poet David Lee Roth said years ago…
November 1st, 2006 at 12:47 pm
I hope it isn’t ****************** or ************* or even ********* as I have all three (go on … count the stars; have a guess at the name; then I’ll tell you the stars are just at random!)
I’m in
November 1st, 2006 at 1:03 pm
Anyone want to comment on where they are seeing the time left on this deal?
November 1st, 2006 at 1:13 pm
Hooray, my first ZOT…hope it will awesome!
November 1st, 2006 at 2:10 pm
My first day at macZot and I am in! Probably should have check the site out more but 6.95 for software can’t be passed up.
November 1st, 2006 at 2:28 pm
this is my first maczot ever. i’m dreaming for little snitch, skedit or candybar.
November 1st, 2006 at 3:03 pm
Did something just happen to the Matrix?
That’s my cryptic guess.
November 1st, 2006 at 4:06 pm
Anyword on this ZOT!… The time limit I saw when ordering has long past..
November 1st, 2006 at 5:31 pm
Will be interesting to see if they are really useful apps, or just time wasters – I hope they’re the earlier! ;)
And yes the said value has gone up…let’s hope it’s real world value.
November 1st, 2006 at 5:49 pm
No one has an extra registration of disco on hand? Id love to take it off your hands…. PASwigart at gmail dot com
November 1st, 2006 at 6:13 pm
So… where is it? It’s been nearly a full 24 hours since I ordered. Bizarre.
I hope its cool, though. This is my first mystery bundle purchase.
November 1st, 2006 at 6:31 pm
This better be a treat.
If this is a trick – may a thousand angry gerbils consume you.
November 1st, 2006 at 6:52 pm
I don’t know why it’s still available. I wish it weren’t. If it had just ended when it said it was supposed to, I wouldn’t have bought it.
November 1st, 2006 at 6:59 pm
I got this one… my first Mystery Zot. I just purchased my first app (Checkbook) the other day.
Hopefully this stuff is cool software, but for $7 you can’t lose. It’s worth the $7 if even one of the apps is cool.
November 1st, 2006 at 8:17 pm
Just took a look at the top list for Suggest-a-Zot, and I have to say that if it’s one or more of the ones towards the top, we’re in for a great surprise.
I’m personally hoping for Transmit or Delicious Library.
November 1st, 2006 at 9:55 pm
It sure is an odd feeling to see my comments, which had been up dor many hours, suddenly gone from the thread. Hey ZOTguys … are you working on this issue?
November 1st, 2006 at 10:40 pm
Seriously…where is the Zot? Its already Thursday…
November 1st, 2006 at 11:08 pm
Ummm It’s way past halloween (is it still 1st November in USA yet?) and I’ve recieved no email that my request has been approved? :\ its just my order is pending at the moment..
November 2nd, 2006 at 12:04 am
Wiretap would be excellent.
November 2nd, 2006 at 12:47 am
Any idea when the mystery package will be unveiled?
It 15 more minutes to 12am…
November 2nd, 2006 at 12:48 am
my comments wont post.
November 2nd, 2006 at 12:48 am
Oh it does now. :)
November 2nd, 2006 at 12:51 am
We are approaching 3AM….
November 2nd, 2006 at 1:00 am
Here come the serials!!
:)
November 2nd, 2006 at 1:09 am
When do we find out if its a trick or treat?
November 2nd, 2006 at 1:12 am
The treat is you pay for zot’s bandwidth fees :P
November 2nd, 2006 at 1:23 am
LOL Zero…. That’s a good one ;)
November 2nd, 2006 at 1:32 am
FYI…
1. Direct Mail by e3 Software
2. Audiobook Builder by Splasm
3. Platypus | from the Mac Game Store
November 2nd, 2006 at 1:32 am
The Mystery Zot:
Direct Mail – http://ethreesoftware.com/directmail/
…An app for spamming?
Audiobook Builder – http://splasm.com/audiobookbuilder/
An MP3 ripper/joiner eh, wouldn’t it be great if iTunes did that… OH WAIT.
Platypus – http://www.macgamestore.com/detail.php?ProductID=545
Some weird game I’ll never play.
I’m still actually in complete shock macZOT tricked people in to buying a SPAMMING APP! TRICK or treat ZOT INDEED!
